So… that personal deadline I have of May 11th for having 6.8 out? Not gonna happen.

WiP: Lots o’ Hairs UPDATED

I was working on Chapter 6.8 (See? Told you all I was working on it!) and I realized… I do not have enough Pooklet’d buns/updo’s. Or short/non-emo-ish male hairs.

Not that there’s anything wrong with long or emo-ish male hairs. They just aren’t what I need for this chapter, that’s all. Chapters 6.7 and 6.8 are set in the same time period as the Prologue, so you can see how I would need more buns and updo’s for the ladies, and more “time-period appropriate” hairs for the fellas. I ended up only doing three styles for the guys (Almighty Hat has done so many of them that I really didn’t need to do too much). But for the gals… a whopping TWENTY hairs. I personally don’t like two different characters sharing hairstyles in one chapter when I take photos (unless it is intentional), hence the need for MOAR!hairs.

If anyone still checks on this blog, I am sure you have noticed how many times over the last couple of years I have made excuses for why a chapter isn’t out yet.

Well, I am sorry about that. Sometimes real life just happens, ya know?

Okay, so I said back in August that the new mini chapter would be out ~soon~ and here it is halfway through NOVEMBER and still nothing. I HAVE been working on it, I PROMISE!

Slowly but surely…

As the title suggests, I am slowly but surely working on the next mini-chapter. I’ve gotten some pictures taken and uploaded, and the text that has been written for nearly two years has finally been matched up with some pictures! I guess I have my grief to thank for breaking my machinomicsist’s (not a word, sue me) block…

Sorry I’ve been away from here for a while – but real life happens, you know? Let’s see… I’m busy getting ready for my cousin’s wedding that is next week (I’m a bridesmaid!), Andy crawls now and gets into EVERYTHING, he also started pulling up on things so you can’t leave him alone because he falls down nearly every time, he also got FOUR new teeth (making it six on the top row and two on the bottom) so he’s been cranky about that, not to mention he’s got allergies so he’s doubly miserable with all this pollen, and… I GOT A JOB! I am now an independent Pampered Chef consultant! So basically, I own my own business!

I haven’t posted since last year! Eeep!
