Damn you Puzzle Quest!

Once again it appears that I have fallen off the face of the earth.  But I promise you, I haven’t!  I’ve been uber sick for the past three or so weeks (pilonidal cyst flaring up, a cold, headaches, blood sugar crashes/spikes, general unwellness and overall bummed-outedness).  But more recently, I’ve been playing Puzzle Quest.  Oh.  My.  God.  That game is like effing crack on steroids.  When I close my eyes I see Puzzle Quest (“Oooh!  Four in a row yellows!”).  The Roger side story has 40 pictures to it so far, but I haven’t even fired up Sims this week because of the Quest.

Most of the time when I play RPG’s (which PQ sort of is) I play a Paladin (but for PQ it would be a Knight), but this time for some reason I decided to be a Warrior (which I suppose can be equated with Barbarian… and all I keep thinking is “Warriors… come out to plaaaaayyy!”).  If you don’t know what Puzzle Quest is, it’s like Bejeweled but with a plot.

And here’s a screen-cap or two of some of the action:

That’s me on the left kicking some major Skelotaur Boss ass.  And if you look hard enough, you can see that I’m a level 47 Warrior… which lets you know just how much I’ve been playing lately.

For anyone unconvinced of just how addictive PQ is, I’ll put it to you this way: this past weekend Sean (my husband) had a five day weekend (he had Monday and Tuesday off) from school.  And what did he do on Wednesday morning?  He SKIPPED.  Why?  TO PLAY PUZZLE QUEST MOAR.  Ha!

Sim Goddess

Welcome to my blog! My name is Robin and I have been playing The Sims 2 since it was first released (September 13 2004 - technically it came out on the 14, but I had preordered it from EB Games so I got it a day early). Before that, I had been playing original Sims game since... 2000? 2001? I'm not quite sure, but I do remember having to wait for Hot Date to be released. So yeah, I've been playing Sims for years.

This blog, Shadows and Blood, is the home of my legacy (and sometimes some real life stuff too). What is a legacy? Oh, just look at my "Site-ations" list and you'll find a link. I don't have a link to the official site because it fails and I am against it (hence putting my story here, rather than on my Simpage).

So yeah, sit back and read my story. Tell me what you think (unless you think it blows - in that case, don't let the browser hit you in the ass on the way out... jk) or just stop by and say hello. Unlike my Sims, I don't bite.
