I’m baaaackkk!

I did say I was working on the next chapter, after all. How about some picspam from those Sims, too?

The last chapter had quite a few scenes take place at “Sterling’s Condo”. Ten internet points to anyone who can name the tv show that apartment was based on. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Okay, it came from Frasier, one of me and my mama’s all time favorite shows (and I’m not really a sitcom person, so that says a lot). I’ve always loved Frasier’s apartment, and it was a lot of fun for me to try and recreate it in the game. I first set out building it just for fun, but it turned out so well (I think) that I couldn’t help but feature it in the chapter!

I wanted the elevation of a higher floor for pictures, so I just built up the house and left the bottom two floors (mostly) empty.

The side view. You can see the camera I used to take the graduation photo in the background of this picture.

The overall floor plan. It’s not exactly like Frasier’s apartment, but I feel like it’s close enough for government work.

I toggled back and forth between day and night to take these pictures (it was actually night). Which is how you can see Addie not frying to death in the next picture.

And it’s also why Lorie is in werewolf form. Yes, the fact that she’s there is important. 😉

As nice as the condo is, I wanted something separate for my vampires on the lot. I could have just as easily put them in one of the lower floors, but for some reason, I didn’t. I can’t remember why now, LOL!

I used the ground floor elevator hall as a homework space for the twins (before they left for university) as well as a robot crafting station for Tom. I don’t have a picture of it, but the next floor has the pinball machine career reward, and the top floor has Addie’s easel and a flower crafting station.

But speaking of the twins…

How about a small tour of the house they rent at Académie Le Tour?

I don’t have many pictures of it, but more can be seen in the last chapter as well as the upcoming chapter.

If you’re wondering how Chance and Mireille are doing, well, they’re adjusting to college life nicely.

There’s a scene in my head that I’ve wanted to do with Chance for a while now, but it had to wait until he was at college. I wasn’t sure if it would be something that would be like a small side-story, or an extra, or what, but the way Chapter 8 is going it will probably be there. I’m not looking forward to setting the scene up, but I am looking forward to the outcome.

And don’t worry, the Mi’s cliffhanger ending will be solved (nearly) straight away in the upcoming chapter! 🙂

So that’s pretty much it. Just wanted to check in, say hi, and let you all know that I am working on the next chapter. Hope you all are doing well. Thank you for your patience!

I shall leave you with a small teaser… of sorts. 😛

Stupid bees.

Thanks! His hood is INSANE. I always have to remind him to not hide the active lots with rocks and buildings, LOL!

And I’m certainly enjoying them. They are my world. ❤

Thanks for the comment; feels good to be back!

Welcome back! Andy’s hood is really cool, and as MajesticDragonfly said has a lot of potential. Enjoy your time with them while you can! They all become teenagers some day

Sim Goddess

Welcome to my blog! My name is Robin and I have been playing The Sims 2 since it was first released (September 13 2004 - technically it came out on the 14, but I had preordered it from EB Games so I got it a day early). Before that, I had been playing original Sims game since... 2000? 2001? I'm not quite sure, but I do remember having to wait for Hot Date to be released. So yeah, I've been playing Sims for years.

This blog, Shadows and Blood, is the home of my legacy (and sometimes some real life stuff too). What is a legacy? Oh, just look at my "Site-ations" list and you'll find a link. I don't have a link to the official site because it fails and I am against it (hence putting my story here, rather than on my Simpage).

So yeah, sit back and read my story. Tell me what you think (unless you think it blows - in that case, don't let the browser hit you in the ass on the way out... jk) or just stop by and say hello. Unlike my Sims, I don't bite.
